The Brooklyn Museum recently asked musicians and producers of all genres to create an original score lasting 5:40 minutes to accompany their Jane and David Walentas Fountain water cycle in front of the Museum.

The works of ten composers were chosen, including Eugene Marlow. The other composers include: Collin Simon, Keith Reynolds, Timothy Cramer and Michael Gentile, Jessica DiMari, Sevarg300 Kavin Graves, Lafayette Harris Jr., Ryan Schumann, and Stephen Taylor.

Marlow had some fun with this project by writing a classical piece that mimics the sounds of dancing waters in a fountain.

The music will be premiered on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. at the Fountain in front of the museum.

David Walentas is a real estate developer with properties from New York to Texas. Jane Walentas is a former art director for Estee Lauder.

This event is free. In case of rain, the event will take place on Friday, August 15, at 6:30.
